Odys Blue Ocean is the growth business unit of Odys Global and the name of its family of services. Each service grew out of the same close to twenty years of research and development, and each is built for one specific place: somewhere demand already exists, but where others have not yet learned to compete. Every service lives on its own site. This page is the complete list, kept current as the family grows.

The Blue Ocean Code
TheBlueOceanCode.com, this site. Through it, Odys AI Labs, the research and development arm of Odys, buys the source code of software people no longer use. Odys AI Labs uses it for AI training and R&D, we may also work on it with research partners, and the written agreement sets out exactly what rights transfer. We work with ex-founders of shut-down startups, SaaS and apps, developers with old side businesses, agencies whose own products never took off, companies with retired products or tech from past acquisitions, and liquidators and heirs. For an owner, it turns code sitting in an old repository into cash, while the work behind it goes on to teach models how real software is read, written and fixed.
The offer to owners is simple. It is cash only: one agreed price, paid on transfer, with no earn-outs. The offer comes after a review based on what you tell us, and there is no obligation. No code changes hands before a signed written agreement, and we never ask anyone to install or run anything. Secrets, keys and personal data are removed before transfer, and we help. We never take databases, user records, customer data or chat logs, we never use your brand or name or relaunch the product as yours, and we do not publish who we buy from.
We look for code from a product that is shut down, abandoned, obsolete or never launched, that makes no money today, that was written by your own team, that is a complete product rather than snippets, and whose rights you own or can sign for (who owns code depends on contracts and country; this is general information, not legal advice, so check your case with a qualified lawyer). We pass on software still making money, client work you have no rights to, open-source forks, templates and tutorial projects, and repositories that are mostly copied libraries or generated code. The checks and the three possible outcomes are set out on how we evaluate a codebase, and you can run a quick self-assessment with the free code value check.
How the family works together
The services share one way of working: measure first, then say plainly what was found. They share one commercial posture: done-for-you, written terms, and a call where we say plainly if your situation is not a fit. And they share one origin, close to twenty years of research and development at Odys Global.
For code owners, that shows up as plain answers. If your code meets what we look for, we make an offer. If one point needs a closer look, we tell you which one. If it is not a fit, we say so and explain why, which is often useful on its own when you are deciding whether to sell, archive, open source or delete it.
Where to start
If you are on this site, your question is probably about code from a product you no longer run. The guide to what old source code is still worth is a good first read. When you are ready, send us a few details for a free code valuation using the short form on the homepage.
Frequently asked questions
Is The Blue Ocean Code a separate company from Odys Blue Ocean?
No. The Blue Ocean Code is one service inside Odys Blue Ocean, which is a business unit of Odys Global, a holding company headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia. The buyer of the code is Odys AI Labs, the research and development arm of Odys. Each service in the family has its own site and its own offer, but they share one team and one origin.
Do I need to use another Blue Ocean service to sell my code?
No. If you hold the source code of software you no longer use, The Blue Ocean Code deals with you directly and nothing else is required. The other services in the family are for businesses that want to grow in a specific channel, such as Google Autocomplete or ChatGPT answers. Code owners do not need any of them.
My old product also had a website. Can you buy both?
They are handled by two different services. The Blue Ocean Code is for the source code. The Blue Ocean Websites buys websites of former businesses that still get organic traffic and have strong links. If your old product had a website that people still find on Google, it may be worth sending to both, and each will tell you separately whether it is a fit.
Why does the Blue Ocean family keep growing?
Because the services come out of research and development, not out of a catalog. Something is tested, measured and made repeatable first, and only then offered as a service with its own site. When a new service is released it is added to this page, so the list here is the current one.
